  • TV linkage position

On my 62 Hawk, currently 289 2bbl, was factory 4bbl car but changed at dealer. There are 2 holes in the upper linkage to the carb, the throttle rod is in the outer hole, furthest from the engine center line is that the correct position? Thanks for your help Lou Cote [8D]

Yes, and the rod goes on the bottom side of the bellcrank lever. I always think of it as the hole nearest the pivot was the original 2 Brl., and the one out on the end was added when the four barrel came along, not entirely true, but makes sense and a good way to remember which is which.

It gets a return spring to a clip on the water outlet bolt for the 2 Brl. and they all get a spring to the valve cover, both are different springs still available in new repro.
