1963 Champ Seat Console Option From Factory?

Just thought I'd check - was there any option for a seat mounted console from the factory? My first thought is that this was added after purchase. Doesn't seem like something offered by the factory.

I don't believe so. I don't recall seeing anything like that on the options lists.

Could someone have used a rear seat back from a sedan that had the center arm rest? I like it.

It looks more like a Stude. Bucket Seat Console turned backwards on the seat instead of the floor. I wonder if it is permanently mounted there, or just one of those aftermarket things you sit on the seat.

Certainly not Factory.
