Hello, anyone in San Diego?

Going through the cities I look at on Craigslist I spotted this car:

It looks like there is enough parts to identify what it really is. No pictures of dash or engine. Anyone aware of this car in San Diego?

I'm guessing Speedster. I think I see a Speedster dash through the passenger door glass. Yes, I know it has a lower level hood ornament.

For the price, $1, I would take a chance on it.

Either a stripped down Speedster, or a President Hardtop in Speedster Colors, but NOT a Coupe.

The "4 on the floor" and the GM Air Cleaner MAY mean a Chev. Engine.

I think only the Speedster had the stainless steel band across the rear part of the roof in 1955. There are a few missing pieces on the car, but it looks to be a genuine Speedster. IMHO, all Speedsters should be preserved.

The ad says its in Vista about a 45 minute ride from me ...but oddly the map on the ad shows it three blocks from where I work on the weekends at the resto shop.

That's a President hood.

Something to investigate for sure!
