  • Search is on for 51 Commander Fuel Gauge

As you might have read it looks like the Fuel Gauge is bad in the 51 Commander. So I am searching for a replacement. Does anyone have one out there? I can take the whole cluster.

Thanks to a local member who had an extra gauge. The gauge works, I now need to get a correct sending unit. 30-240 Correct?, does it really matter if it is for 12 or 6v since it only measures resistance?

Yes! It does matter. The 12 volt senders have a different resistance range than the 6 volt senders,

Not sure if 54 is the same as 51, but on my 54 (6V) system the resistance range is 0 ohm = full, 90 ohm = empty.
