Wow! 56 Golden Hawk

I believe this car was for sale on the web about four years ago.
Having once owned a 56J for 20 years, IMHO the value goes down for me as the car goes away from a stock restoration. I'll nit-pick by pointing out that the grille emblem is placed in the wrong location and the exhaust extensions are not 1956. Although it was tastefully done, the paint colors and scheme are incorrect, as is the interior -- so it becomes a custom car and would get lots of points deducted at a Studebaker judged show.
Value? Hard for me to say. I'd guess anywhere from $20-$30K. Probably should have sold it at $22.5K.
Nice car just the same! Here's a couple of more shots that I saved from when it was advertised last time.

However, the production order says this was originally an automatic, PS and PB car.
This car also has 57 Golden Hawk front fenders - park lights are too far forward, fender side trim is straight instead of arced, and the Hawk emblem was not used in 56.
