  • Vacuum Gauge

Did any of the Studebaker Hawks come from the factory with a vacuum gauge ? I know a tach was optional.

Vacuum ONLY '56 G/H Gauges almost NEVER are found on a '56 Flight Hawk, Power Hawk, '57, '58, '59 Silver Hawk, or a '60, '61 Hawk and not available on GT Hawks. A VERY few have been installed at a Dealer or by owner on the Rare '56 Sky Hawk.
Yes they were Optional if you ordered it from a Dealer Parts Dept., I do not believe they were ever listed or advertised for a non-Golden Hawk.

Standard on '56 G/H, and a Vacuum AND Pressure Gauge was Std. on '57-'58 G/H and Packard Hawk with Supercharger.

Since all Tach, Clock and Vacuum Gauge HOLES are in the '56-'61 Dashes, they CAN be installed OR a: Oil Temp./Fuel Pressure/Trans. Temp./or Altimeter.
