I purchased a 1937 Studebaker President 8 4door Sedan almost a year ago and I am trying to find a value for it. I need to know how to tell the difference between a Cruiser and Custom and I can't seem to find it with Google, does anyone know? I have pictures but since I'm new I'm not sure where to put them? Thank you!

I do not believe there was a Cruiser or custom in the 1937 President line just different body styles sedans and coupes. There may have been a President State model.

You might be interested in my feature article in the magazine Collectible Automobile for Dec 2011. Approx 3500 words and 30 images. You can find a copy by doing an ebay search. I also did a feature in the Antique Studebaker Review so no shortage of info on the '37 Presidents. Have dozens of original photos and hundreds of pages of original documentation. Check the body plate on the firewall. Your photo tells me it should start 37C W3 which would make it a Cruising Sedan (with trunk) and no side mounts. My 2nd photo below is the same car as yours but with the dual sidemounts, ergo a State Cruising Sedan (37C W2).
