Yikes! That was a pretty spendy car in 1963.

While watching video noticed the driver turning steering wheel thought it looked like car had no power steering after listening to things on car seems as it didn't have power steering

There also was a post about a 1964 green Challenger 2 door sometime back with the price of around $2,100 dollars on the price is right. It has been so long since I saw the original Price is Right that I don't remember if they won the car or not. I do remember it was on prime time occasionally. One time there was a Mr Softee Ice Cream truck that was given away with a 10K price tag.

The Holiday Sweepstakes promotion included an "Autumn Haze" Mink Coat! That 1961 Studebaker color must have made an impact with the Furriers.

White with red interior, sharp looking car!
              Wonder if it survived?

Interesting that the '63 Hawk on the November 1962 show featured a wood grain dash. Was always led to believe they used the '62 dash trim until some time in early '63.

I don't know how the car was moved, but I doubt it was running since the contestants weren't coughing or waving off exhaust fumes.
                    So power steering wasn't used.
