Requesting SDC help solving a '41 Shroud Kick Pad mystery. My '41 Master Body Parts Catalog states the following:

    KICK PAD
RIGHT KICK PAD INCLUDES VENTILATOR SCREEN
    3G 11A 7C (qty1) 276705T Right
    3G 11A 7C (qty1) 276704T Left
    SCREEN, KICK PAD VENTILATOR
    3G 11A 7C (qty1) 274172P Right

Pic shows a Shroud Kick Pad & Screen removed from a '41 3G F-Body but I don't know what side of the vehicle they were removed from. According to the book the RH Pad includes the Screen but why then is a Screen only available for RH? Does this mean the LH Pad has no Screen or is the LH Screen integrated into the design of the Pad? I have expended too many brain cells on trying to solve this mystery so I'm turning it over to the SDC experts. If anyone could post pics of an installed LH & RH inner ventilator assembly in a 3G 11A or 7C I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Very simple. The left hand cowl door when opened directed outside air into the enclosed Climatizer chamber (i.e. to the under seat unit) and therefore no outside air went directly into the car from that side. Read your owner's manual!

As they say a pic is worth a thousand words. Can you send a pic of the L&R assy on one of your Q-codes or are they located under the seat?
