  • Hipo Stude Valve Covers

OK, maybe someone will know something about this. My granddad picked up a set of chromed valve covers at a meet a couple years ago, and stenciled (painted on) them is "BD SPECS" and "475 HP".

What is BD SPECS and what Stude ever had 475 horsies?

I'll get some pictures tomorrow, Tom. They're installed under the hood of the '57 Silver Hawk.

Ted Harbit valve covers? If that's true, then it certainly adds to the Cool Factor of the car!

It might stand for Bull Dung. The man that sold them to me said all I had to do was bolt them on and double my Horse Power, I cant tell much difference, but it is definately a conversation starter. You wouldn't believe how many people think it's true just be cause it sez so. NT
