        Tom, that is probably Black Cherry or Comanche Red. Both colors were available in 1950 and 1951, but it's difficult to tell exactly what it is. BP

          I wonder why so many people have difficulty finding the correct shift knob. They have been available as reproductions for years.

          And when did maroon become burgundy?

              Sweet ride! I would have used a grey carpeting, but that's just me and it's not mine. Ha ha. Still a pretty car.
