  • 1958 packard 2 door hardtop

    WANTED the chrome spear type ornament on top of front fender in show quality or excellent used

    also need a left tie rod and the car has air conditioning and need the plastic tubes for the rear window

    As mentioned in another thread, trunk A/C was not available from the factory in Hardtop models. Only the underdash system was available in that model.

      Gary, the car has the underdash unit but it has the clear plastic tubes in rear window and on rear shelf outlets

        Joe,

        That is an interesting car. When you state 'underdash unit', do you mean just the controls? or the evaporator as well? If it has the clear tubes on the rear shelf, the evaporator would be in the trunk. I cannot see it having two evaporators.

        Did you get the Production Order from the SNM for it yet?

          I will have to get you more info on the air conditioner unit the air ducts are under the dash and believe the other is in the trunk ..it has the plastic tubes in rear window and the rear window shelf has ones in it for the air
