  • Factory Frame Markings.

This here was the original frame markings on the 61 Lark Convertible.

This was located on the outer rail left hand side. "3" Diff ratio? (3:31?) "L" Convertible, "6" cyl, "A" Automatic.

Does any one have a good photo or know of what would be the marking for a Jet Thrust, 4 speed, Disc brake car?

    Thanks for any information.

That one is in condensed CODE!

The ones I have on '64 Daytona's are right outboard of the Drivers feet, same area but have Model Code V-J8, and V-Y8 but I'll have to check, because I think there was also the Line Number, which would when referring to the Build Order, give all those details.

If that is 'SL6' then it makes total sense.

You are correct, SL6, so do you have the Ovaltine decoder ring I need for the JT Car?
