More details are required since the Champion was only available with a six cylinder. Has it been converted to an 8? If so, which engine? And it would be a two-piece shaft with a center carrier bearing.

So this is a MODIFIED Champion with a Stude. V8 Engine, a Long Tail Transmission and a one piece, slide-in Yoke Driveshaft?

Carefully Check/Watch the Floor under the rear seat Driveshaft Tunnel for clearance, it will be severely LIMITED when the Springs are under Load!

The shaft will need to come from a parted out '58-'64 C or K Hawk.

I put a 63 259 in to a 54 Champion and I used the shaft from a 63 Lark the universal joints are the same, I had to shorten the shaft about 5 inches. $100 at a drive shaft shop. I had to cutaway the center support from the two piece shaft for clearance. Most of the Studebaker universal joints are the same. SI lists 47 - 57 as the same however the 63 lark shaft fit on the 54. So who knows for sure?
