I also have noticed my super performance option gt hawks(super hawk) have a red line tach in them. I have heard 35 R2superhawks were produced in 1964.

The Red Line Tach just means it is late enough to be a Jet Thrust Powered Hawk with it, but may not be late enough to be a "Super Hawk".

To have a Super Hawk Package it would have the Traction Bars and Rear Stabilizer Bar included. If it does NOT have them, it could not be one of the "Few".

Of course there were GT hawks and Larks built with those Options, but due to their Production Date being too early were not "Super" Package Cars.

Does it have a JT or JTS Serial Numbered Engine?

If you list your Car Serial Number, there are a few here that can tell you if it IS a real "Package" Car.

You are correct for 1963 production but in 1964 ALL Avanti powered Larks and Hawks had traction bars and sway bars.

George Krem did the research years ago. I had the only '63, R2, rose mist SuperHawk at that time. Data/report must be around somewhere.
