The September chapter meeting for the South Georgia SDC is being held near Savannah, GA on Sat, Sept 23rd.
It is being held at Deep-N-Hock Acres in Brooklet.
Sort of a chapter meeting and an open house.
If any of you north Florida, or South Carolina people want to cruise on down...C'mon by.
Just let me know and I'll give you directions.
    Will be a BBQ chicken/Low Country Boil/salad tray.. and a tech session (on what... I don't know...yet)
Need a head count so we don't run out of food (bring a dish to pass), so RSVP me if you want to come on down...

Tech session? probably be a pretty good BULL session too. I'v been having various problems with My Wife's GT for a year or so. Thought i had it worked out to drive over, but today I discovered I still have fuel delivery problems. I'm thinking I may have a faulty electric fuel pump.

    But, I'll be there,
although I may hafta drive a Hemi Ram!

Looking forward to seeing everyone. I talked to Mike Benson, He is hopeing to bring his new 55 coupe.

I told Pat Skelly that for a tech session I might mount an intake manifold for fly cutting
(and shoot aluminum chips all over everyone just for the fun of it).

Mike is scrambling to get set of W/W tires mounted in time to bring his Amelia Island prize out.. Looking forward to it.
Weather forecast is good, so far.
Am behind schedule cleaning up the shop, what with the hurricane damage cleanup.. But..The show must go on!

Wish I could slip on down, unfortunately I'm on a project in Chicago. Actually Schaumburg/Elk Grove Village, but it's mighty close to Chicago.

                  Sounds like a good time.

There is a Portillos about 3 miles away from my current "home"(hotel). Went by it last night, but the crew had their heart set on a Chicago style pizza.
I suspect before this week ends, there WILL be a visit there.

                            Cranked up the A/C....
                            Almost ready....Almost.....

I would have loved to come down for this, but our chapter has a board of directors meeting that day.
