  • Brakes: Brake pedal arm length on 57 GH

After reading many posts regarding the difference between non-power brake systems and power brake systems I am unsure whether I have the correct brake pedal installed on the car. The length between the pivot point at the shaft that goes through the frame and the point where the pedal attaches to the master cylinder push rod is approximately 2 1/4". The pedal should be part 536521 with power brakes and 536141 without power brakes, but the parts manual doesn't give the dimensions. Can someone tell me the correct dimension on either pedal.

The power brake pedal is about 8 inches long, whereas the std pedal is about 11 inches and mounts closer to the.master cyl

Thanks to both of you. That is exactly what I needed, but didn't think to ask for.
