Hello,

I noticed in the past few weeks there has been some confusion with what clock goes where. Because of this I have compiled clocks in my own collection with some of the members pictures as well to help in this confusion.

Please note: I am in no way saying that I am the ultimate authority on these clocks. I am just trying to help out fellow board members. So if I happen to be off on a few please don't hesitate to correct me in a polite manner. With that said lets try to work some stuff out!:D

Upper Left-Hand Corner: This is the clock for 1959 Lark models. It
is characterized by the "silver center."

Top Center: This was in an earlier post in which this was
identified as a 1960 time piece. The only major
difference from 1959 is the presence of a "gold center."

Upper Right-Hand Corner: The clock on the left (with the white face)
is said to go on the lower end 1962 models
whereas the one on the right (with the
black face) is said to go on the upper end
models (Regal/Daytona). This one was the
most confusing to me as I originally had
the White faced one in my 1961 Lark. I
would later find out that there are slight
differences between this one and the "real"
1961 Lark clock.

Lower Left-Hand Corner: The clock on the left is the "real" clock
for the 1961 Lark models. The only major
differences with this one and the 1962 white
face one (right) is the presence of
the "grey ring" and the fact that the center
is galvinized. On the 1961 clock the center
has more of a polished chrome finish.

Bottom Center: The black face clock to the left in this picture came
out of a 1956 President. I am assuming that the other
gages were black to match. The one on the left (white
face) goes to 1957 Studebaker models. Once again I am
assuming that this clock was also in the 1958 models
as I have never seen a 1958 clock before.

I believe that about covers it as I have probably made this too long already. I would like to close by saying that these clocks can fit in pretty much any Studebaker Model (minus Packarbakers, Hawks, Avantis?) from 1956 to 1962. It is deciding whether you wish it to be "correct" for that year.

Yes on the Gold center on '60 Lark Regal Speedo and Instr. Cluster.
Silver on '60 Lark Deluxe, and Champ used same.
'59 Lark is Silver center on all models. The Speedometer glass has the markings for speed and '59 has 1 MPH increments and Red marks on the 5's and 10's. So a Deluxe Silver '60 with only white 5 mph marks, does not match any '59, different part number.
