What is the correct length and routing for the positive battery cable on a '63 GT Hawk? I now have the negative cable connected properly to the water pump/power steering mounting stud and want to make the positive cable correct too.

Mine drops behind the battery between it and the firewall, under the battery tray and up to the solenoid. It could just as easily go around the battery along the fender and down to the solenoid. I thought it looked better out of sight below the battery, but expect above running with the other wires is likely correct. My cable is about 30" long, but it looks like 2ft would do it.
