  • 1938 K15 Truck, 226, 6 cyl.

I need the intake and exhaust manifolds. Any info on where I might acquire them appreciated.
    Thanks, Mike

Mike - I don't have a Truck parts book handy, are they different than the car manifolds? Are they the same as the K-10 manifold? I have a spare set from a 1950 "Commander" truck engine as we reused the set from my 38 Coupe when I installed the 245 truck engine in my car because they had been machined just prior to starting the restoration.

Intake part number 638044, used on all J and K-10 and 15, plus M-16/17 before engine number 3M15,547. Exhaust part number 191032, used on all J and K-10 and 15, plus M-16/17 before engine number 3M2546. Based on the part number, the exhaust manifold would also have been used on Commander cars.

        I have a number of intake/exhaust manifolds both 6 and 8 cylinder.
The only way to identify these is by casting numbers.

Thanks to everyone for the information. I'll get with Vern and with Bob Kapteyn and see what I can come up with.
