  • A 51 Second Video of a 56

    Hi all,

Yesterday, I traveled through Frederick County, MD on a local AACA tour. We toured three covered bridges. https://www.visitfrederick.org/thing...-driving-tour/

I hooked up a GoPro and through an app was able to capture some of the sights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt8U4xnWd78

What are some of places that you like to go in your Studebaker?

Thanks for sharing the drive... and the President Classic. My favorite new '56 sedans at the time were the Classic and the Lincoln Premiere. Odd combination for a 13 year old to choose, but sixty-one years later I still have the same reaction.

Haven't seen much in the way of covered bridges since that era, either.

Thanks for sharing! I was just back there visiting my daughter in DC, and we explored the historic downtown of Fredrick; next time I will find those covered bridges!

Before buying the Studebaker, I was inches away from buying a 59 Lincoln Premiere. I know the 59 is a lot different than the 56 version. Lincoln really went astray during those "Lost Mark" years. I agree with your 56 favorites; you have excellent taste.

Please do. Touring the countryside is so easy around here. Very little traffic and rolling hills.

I would love to hear the actual driving sounds, why go to the trouble of programming music? I saw one of your videos on Facebook, you followed up with a video with actual sound of the car idling.
