:o One of the most stubborn Studebaker legends to dispel is the story surrounding the 1962 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. The error was recently given further credibility by appearing inside The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum! :mad:

The following three documents are self-explanatory. I doubt that Donald Davidson had anything to do with the special Indiana-manufactured cars display, but he would be in a position to correct those who are...or did, in this case!

Just be glad they didn't say it was a FORD 289.......
