  • Horse drawn flat

As some of you know I have a growing interest in the Studebaker horse drawn vehicles. While perusing e-Bay for such a critter, I came across a first, a horse drawn mail wagon with a flat tire. [:0]

So when do you pick it up?

A set of wheels for that wagon go for the same price as a good set of radials. I would have them fitted with rubber tyres as well. The ride is considerably better and quieter.

            Paul,

It was not a Studebaker and was priced too high anyway. However, I have located a buggy in a garage in Timberville and may take a trip to look at it on Saturday.

Well, when you decide to completely switch to buggys and want to get rid of that 7E-13D, give me a call.[}]

I think that one young Matthew Burnett has beaten you to the punch on that one. The only problem is, he does not have a job (but does seem to have plenty of gas money). [:0]

                            Here's another link to try:

Martin's are the largest outfit auctioning horse-drawn vehicles around. They typically have auctions all over the United States. In fact, they're having one in Ventura CA in just a few weeks. Check out their web site and they just might be able to hook you up (or should I say harness you up) to the vehicle of your dreams.

By the by, if you're going to buy the carriage or wagon, the harness would be a necessity as well:

Smucker's is the best. They've been supplying harness to the Amish and general public for several generations.
