  • Big Studebaker Event In Bellingham, WA.

    We're planning a exciting weekend September 7th, 8th & 9th.
September 8th is "Drive Your Studebaker Day" with awards for longest driven and a celebration to all who drive a Studebaker.
Last year there were Studebaker's driven 2-3 days to get here and they felt it was well worth the journey!
This year there will be a 40th Anniversary chapter celebration with more fun ,for everyone!

If you are interested and the flyer appears too small, please email me and I will send you a full size attached flyer.
There are convenient options to fly in on Allegiant Airlines (very inexpensive), Alaska Airline and Amtrack Train, with free hotel shuttle.
Club members are also willing to drive you in their Studebaker's!
Mark your calendar and stay tuned (subscribe to this thread) for more info next month.

    Thanks,

    James Bell

I live in southern Oregon, so it's possible I could come. I might have my '66 Cruiser road-ready by then.

We look forward to having you here in 'our town' for the weekend!!!
No name is mentioned because we have not worked out any 'deals' just yet.
You might want to wait until that happens before making reservations.
Don't worry- once we've worked it out- we'll post about it here.
However, there is only one place in Ferndale worth staying at,
and that is the Super 8.

            {hint, hint}

Well the way I see it- if y'all can share your weather with us- you may as well share some lingo too. And though I'm not in Canada, I can just about see it from here, so I may as well try to blend in. But then again- the snow drifts are deep enough right now that blending in is pretty easy!!!

Just found this post. Fingers crossed that I can make it in the Commander! If I can't bring the 65, I will try my hardest to source another car for the weekend. Are there any campgrounds near by? Since it will just be me, I may just pop my tent up at a KOA or something.

Cedars RV park, is located a few miles away for camping, RV's, trailers, etc. There is also an RV Park near the meet hotel.

SNW is also very near there, more details about that later.

That would be NorWest RV Park. I'm not too sure they allow tents, though.

And don't forget about Larabee State Park or the one at Birch Bay.
There may also be other parks near Birch Bay that allow tents?
