      8E7-19115 - 122 WB - T6 Cab - Information sent by email - last month - sorry...

      Information from owner:

8E7-19115, motor # 3E19163. Here are a few photos. It was a rush sold order, and delivered to the Lebanon Mo. Dealership, The same town my grandfather had bought it in the early 80's. I believe it was a farm truck since it is a farming area and it has no overdrive nor hill holder. I am doing a frame off restoration, and adding a NOS hill holder as well as many other period correct items. It is stock and has the correct motor, but the truck has been badly used and abused. Thanks, Ron McCoy Greenfield Mo.

That is very unusual, somebody was planning to go pretty Fast in that Champ with 3 Firestone 500 Tires as used on Avantis!

                      8E7-19404 - 112 WB - T6 cab - for sale on Hemmings web site.

Lots of custom touches - many of which came from other Studebakers.

That IS amazing, I could spend ALL day just listing all the proper applications of ALL those Stude. Parts!
                        They are just literally everywhere.

Pretty cool use of different years of Gauges. Among the smaller additions, are the Door Switches for the Dome Light.

The builder must have had a yard full of '50's and '60's Studes. the size of Chuck Naugle's to choose from.

On another note; my gosh, how MANY of these Champs are we going to find with the Heater Hose BACKWARDS?
Did all the ebay, craigslist, Bring A Trailer Ad sellers copy each other or what!
We must be up up to about 5 or more now.

On the pretty Blue Mist 3/4 Ton Champ, I see a 5 Speed Shift Pattern Plate on the Glove Box Door. They are almost always Overdrive not direct 5, on less than
1 1/2 ton or more Trucks.

                                Very nice Truck.
