            Nice job, Dusty!

For those who might remember, could this be Harvey the Wonder Champ?

Here are a few cars I thought were interesting... had pics of others, but somehow deleted them during the editing process.

This one is an interesting combination of parts... and I think it "works.":

I like the exaggerated/enhanced door "scallops." It is interesting how the later model sedan rear fender treatment blends into this creation.

              Cuter than two speckled puppies:

              Skirts:

What are the odds... even at an International meet? Two '52 hardtops, same color combination, side-by side:

OTOH, I found it unusual that there was not one single lemon/lime Speedster on the show field.

Can't help myself, I like these:

Probably one of the more interesting paint jobs:

Don't know why, I just thought this one was kinda purty. <G>

I had some really nice pics of Matt driving the Avanti to the drag strip, and of Jim on the strip, but screwed up and lost 'em. Here are the two best pictures I have at the drags:

              On the starting line:

              Also on the starting line:

Thank you for the great photos. All of the cars (and the girl) are top class except for a white LAND CRUISER.................................. and it was a Toyota.

First, Dave this 64 T Cab belonged to Dusty's Dad. He bought it new, and it was sold at auction when he passed away. It belongs to Milt and Emma Rafferty here in Springfield. He used it for many years to travel, it had a camper on it. Then he used it for his work truck, he was a welder. The original motor is now in our pickup. I have a picture of it when he used it for a work truck, and will find it and post it.

Some great shots, gang. I take it there weren't many Larks, or was it that none of the picture takers have much interest in them?

                            Thanks for the info!

There was a similar truck at one of the former International meets that was known as Harvey... just checkin'.

It seemed to me there weren't as many Larks or 47-52 models as in the past. My brother and I were talking about it on the way home.
