I couldn't find a name on it. This was at the Murphy Museum in Oxnard CA.IMG_1596.jpgIMG_1595.jpgIMG_1594.jpg

Very similar to the huge electric truck that Curtis Publishers used in Philadelphia years ago. Can't remember the manufacturer.
Carried huge paper rolls and printed magazines issues.
I saw a few years ago in Flemings Auto Parts salvage yard. Owner Harry Fleming said it still ran and he was just storing it for a collector who had plans on restoring it.
I think it went back to Philadelphia.
Wait a minute, that's the same truck!

It is a 1912 Commercial, or "CT" electric.

It was in the Hays Museum in Woodland, CA for many years.

Ok, that's the same type truck. Heard back from Flemings. The unit they had is the same type truck. But the unit they had is still apart in process of restoration.
Would make sense Curtis would have more than one, probably a small fleet.
