    This is a seven-minute video about taking a group of WW II veterans to visit the National WW II Museum near New Orleans. If it doesn't put a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye... If it has been posted here before, I apologize, but watch it again anyhow.

      Paul: Thank you for posting this great story. The men and women of that era in the military provided a fantastic service to our country. There were civilians who did, also.

        Thanks for the post, these guys truly stepped up to the job. Just imagine signing up for the "duration" never knowing when or if it would end.

        BTW, it's truly nice to see a patriotic entertainment star.

            Thanks for posting. I have shared that on my FaceBook page asking why we here in Australia don't honour our veterans like this? I guess I am biased as many of my passed family served.

              Matt, I must agree with you. What an impressive tribute to those veterans. I recall seeing the fatal crash of a Vulti Vengeance as a youngster here in Melbourne during 1944.
