  • William "Bill" Sanders

Ozark Trails member William Sanders (my brother) passed away on Feb 1st,2017. Bill learned to drive on our Dad's 1959 Lark. He later used the Lark to drive to work in the summers when he was in collage. Bill later enlisted in the Army and served in Viet Nam. He made a career of the Army and attained the rank of Master Sargent. Bill lived in New York, Las Vegas, and eventually settled in Jonesboro, AR where he took care of our Mother for the last several years of her life.

Bill did not own a Studebaker but joined SDC and the Ozark Trails Chapter because of my interest in Studebakers and he did get to drive one back in the 60's. Bill did collect Studebaker toys just as I do.

He left behind a daughter, several grand children, several great grand children, several nephews and many friends.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

    Sincerely,

    Gary Sanders

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

      G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.
