Would anyone have the proper factory "U" clips that are used to attach 1959-1966 quarter panels to the body? I do not like the generic one that you can purchase.

These are rare in any condition, Pretty sure these were made at Studebaker, for Studebaker and are very unique because of surface area and reach. . Somehow they are not the 'spring steel' like intended, and ended up too 'hard' during manufacturing. I'd had a handful out of 150 parts cars and have never seen new ones. I'll also add, to be sure to fully install the panel before paint, and re- block and fill the area around them. ANy 'overtorque' of these bolts WILL distort the sheet metal. Especially true on 62-66's and also note, prior to 1962, they do not break as easy. -
