Impressive performance. Obviously, not a Champion six.

    1952 Commander 2 door. Really fine 259.

Hi Dave. My dad snapped a picture of your car at Route 66 dragway several years back. I was already into the work of tubbing my 52, but had several years to go. So that picture was a good inspiration to finish.
    Lets here more about it!!

Hi Dave. We are practically neighbors as I live in Las Cruces and am periodically over to Tularosa to visit my son and his family.

I live up in the hills above La Luz. About the car, I must admit that I was not the builder of this car but know alot about it. It has
a 1970 Nova front clip and 2X3 3/16 tubing behind that. It has a cage that was certified for 8.5 sec. until the PO cut the bars that crossed the door out to make it easier to drive on the street. It has a 462 BBC with a Turbo 400 with a 250 HP shot on NOS. It has
a Dana 60 rear end with a locker and Wilwood disc brakes all around. It is tubed with 30 inches of rubber on the ground. It is awesomely fast and a little scary. Also alot of fun. I am rewiring the car and installing a larger radiator and new front suspension at this time.
