Gorgeous! And great quality work to boot. I know someone in our Arizona Car Club who has over $125,000 in a Brand New 1949/50 Chev 5 window (total reproduction) which will certainly not be as cool and unusual as yours once you are finished.
Congrats and keep the pics coming.

That is some mighty fine work. I'll never have anything quite that nice.

Never keep records and never add up the cost of a hobby. Most would enjoy the hobby more not having the cost front and center.

One of my customers told me this. He is working on a Late 30's Dodge Coupe. He said never keep track of receipts, then your wife can never complain when she finds the paper trail.

That truck is gonna be gorgeous.

Amen to not trying to keep up with cost. I don't want to know what I have in mine.

Here is the latest update, with one shot from the projects origins. Widened the bed to a period correct 56, got the new tailgate, widened each fender by 1.5" and extended the rear a little bit to accommodate the roll pan:

I agree. I was going to keep track of time and cost to restore one of my cars until I figured out just how much extra time and stress that would take.

What the eye does not see, the heart can't grieve The only car that to total was kept track was my first car in 1968, 1955 Speedster with overdrive and a 56 Hawk front clip. Initial cost was $150.00 total cost when traded in was $1,500. Will not tell what the trade in value on a 1970 Hornet was because I hate to cry.
