        That is a fine looking car. The color reminds me of the Tahoe Green 52 Champion I used to have.

          I learned to drive a stick in a 51 Stude, wish I had one. Gonna look for one after I sell my 63 R2 Hawk.

            Thank you long story on this car my uncle bought new and in i think 56 he had stroke affected body but not mind it sat on blocks in family garage for 33 years when he passed my father got the car and after several years he gave to myself and my wife we had everything on outside redone including engine. In 1998 we had kids could use $$ sold it . our youngest just graduated from college in 2015 and we took chance the same couple still had it and they still did they sold it back to us saying only right to go back to original owners we were very fortunate to get it back. it is is schuetter family to stay

                      As Studebakers go, 51 models are fairly common, but Studebaker production was low compared to the big three. Like any car of that age they don't get out on the road often enough to be seen very often. Many are taken out for a chapter meeting or the like and go right back in the garage. Some of us like to just drive our cars around town, but many do not.
