    Chris Johansson passed away today. February 12th,2016.
    Chris was a long time member of The North Carolina Studebaker Drivers Club.

    We will definitely miss Chris, he was a great guy. Always willing to help a fellow Studebaker owner out. There are so many great memories about Chris, it's hard to list all of them. I remember him driving to one meet in his just painted Champ pickup, with no windshield! There is a great article in Turning Wheels about Chris and Truett Ray driving to the 1982 Seattle National Meet in Chris' 1941 Champion. I scanned the article from the July 1986 Turning Wheels and attached it below.

    Chris was a great supporter of the Studebaker hobby, as well as an all-round good person. He will be sorely missed.................

    My prayers go out to his family in this difficult time.
