  • Bill Schiffer Passes Away

I noted today when rechecking information for What's Happening that Bill Schiffer of the Greater Seattle Chapter has passed away. The following was on their webstie. Apparently he had once worked for Studebaker in South Bend.
It is with great sadness that I must report that Bill Schiffer passed away January 22, at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. Arrangements for a memorial service have not yet been made. Bill fought his cancer with unfailing courage and good humor. He will be greatly missed. Greta Justad
This photo was taken in September of 2009 on the occasion of Bill's 80th birthday. God rest his soul.
