For International Drive Your Studebaker Day (IDYSD) 2015 we'll be putting on a car show for the residents of the Minneapolis Veterans Home at 5101 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417. We'll arrive at 9:30 in the north parking lot to set up and invite the veterans out from 10 to 12 (when they will go back in for lunch). Afterwards we will drive across the Mendota bridge for lunch at Luckys 13 Pub located at 1352 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota MN, 55150.
Due to the Veterans Home main campus bridge closure off Minnehaha Drive, visitors should enter the Minneapolis Veterans Home via 46th Avenue South, through Wabun Picnic Area.
From Hiawatha, follow East Minnehaha Parkway/Godrey Parkway east, turning south on 46th Avenue South.
From Ford Parkway/East 46th Street, turn south on 46th Avenue South.
Be careful, you want 46th AVENUE, not STREET! The intersection of the two is right by there!
For the drive to Lucky's 13, we'll retrace our steps on 46th Avenue to 46th Street, turn left and then turn left again on Hiawatha. After crossing the Mendota Bridge, we'll take a left on 13 (Sibley Memorial Highway) and follow it around to Lucky's 13.
