  • Interior: armrest plastic repair

As I'm removing and recovering board for my 1960 Lark wagon door panels, I'm trying to clean up the worn shiny plastic armrests, formerly chrome colored. Has anyone used something in particular to seal up the various cracks that appear in the plastic, and/or secure the pieces that are loose?

    Thank you!

epoxy PC 7, + or- easy sanding body filler. One or both depending how bad they are. Best to keep an eye out for ones needing only paint. . cheers jimmijim

They're just slight cracks, the integrity of the armrest is still there. I'll keep in mind replacements. Is the epoxy pc7 something you get at a hardware store or auto parts place?
