Can include any trucks that are "field flowers" or ones that were parted out years ago - just curious as to what is out there.

If you need me to host your photos - just email them to champs@zoho.com - and put VIN and name so I know who you are.

    From Rockinhawk:

OK! I went back with a better set of eyes.
    Serial# E5-132068=Late 61
    Model 6E5-112 = short W/B 1/2 ton 6 cyl.
    cowl 6E-T4 =1961

Here's another late 61 with SpaceSide Box, WB of 112.

                        6E5-132603

6 cyl, Overhead Valve Engine with 3 spd on Column

Options include Trim Package with Chrome Grill and Sliding rear window, rear bumper and Climatizer.

Truck was originally sold in Staunton VA owned by an individual who own and operated an Auto Repair Shop. Bought by nephew at family auction and sold to me in 2000. Currently again lives in Virginia.

Don - looks like you are so close to 1961, it might be thought of as being one. According to Turning Wheels, however, your truck is the third 7E5 produced for the 1962 model year, the first being 132,601. Do not fear, however, I will include this information in the 1962 - 7E forum registry - http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...forum-registry

That's very interesting Pat as it has been registered all of it's life as a 1961. It is not surprising though so it is what it is.

                            Thanks for the info

Probably a case of the vehicle getting registered so early that it was considered the model year it was registered in.
