      Fine looking pickup. If I was in the money, I would certainly take a look. Slowness can be fixed.

          Welcome to the SDC Forum.

          I like the looks of your pickup. I have owned three of these 1957-1959 Studebaker pickups. Mine were all V8s. I assume that yours is a small flathead six. Keep in mind that in the 1950s, pickups were for farmers and tradesmen and not used for regular highway transportation (as a rule - always exceptions).

          If you give more information and include the price, there are those here that will be interested.

            If it IS a V8, and seems slow it must be the Low gearing or lack of Overdrive that is keeping it below 85 to 100 MPH.
