      I took pictures of this truck a few years ago and posted a few on the forum. Obviously not a 1948, but a 1949-53. The body is very rough, but the bed is rather unique.

        Oh Boy! Brought back memories of fruit and veggies being delivered by truck during boyhood days in Brooklyn, NY. Great pic and thanks for sharing the memories.
