While reading the coverage of the 2013 PSMCDR in the latest edition of TW, I started thinking about some of the cars' "punny" names. I, for one, wish that the nickname for Steve Doerschlag's car didn't remind me of a Pontiac. Since his Challenger is painted Moonlight Silver, perhaps we could re-christen it as the "Space Shuttle"!

The Silver Streak would work, which was a movie that loosely references the dawn to dusk run of the Pioneer Zephyr. The movie and the run of the train both came out in 1934. Now I'm talking about that version as it had the famous high speed CB&Q trainset in it, and not the Gene Wilder version that came out in 1976!1964 Studebaker Commander R2 clone
1963 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop with no engine or transmission
1950 Studebaker 2R5 w/170 six cylinder and 3spd OD
1955 Studebaker Commander Hardtop w/289 and 3spd OD and Megasquirt port fuel injection(among other things)
