The Michiana Chapter drove our Studebakers yesterday. We met at the Chili's on always busy Grape Road in Mishawaka Indiana. Grape Road is pretty much the most traveled road in the area, and we had 17 Studebakers lined up along that road. Great Exposure for our Studebakers! There was only one accident when someone was looking at the cars while driving on Grape Road, and ran into the car in front of them on the road. Oooops!
The 1950 in the second picture was in pieces less than 10 days ago. (And yes, you can see that car accident in the background too) Michiana Chapter member Larry Morris put this car together for Chapter members Karey and Colene Aenis so that they could drive it on International Drive Your Studebaker Day! (I don't know how he did it) It looks just as good inside as it does in this picture too! Good friends, good time, and good food....great afternoon driving our Studebakers!
