  • DEEPNHOCK's 1953 Drag Car ... "The Black Car"

It needs a better 'Drag Racer Name'.....
A slow 'work in progress' project.
Converting it from a BBC to a Novi blown Stude V8.
    Stude Power!

I like that car. I did the first time I saw it and still do. I can always say: I helped load it on the trailor. So maybe I could cheat a little and say I was once part of the pit crew. Wait til I get "The Saturday Night Special" back goin'. I may come lookin' forya. (humor) Kinda makes me proud to own a black 53. LOL LOL

With your boys as the pit crew... We didn't need ramps to load it up
They could have just picked it up and tossed it on the trailer

                  "Black Mamba"

                  "The midnight menace"

Just a few that popped in my head.

"Black POS" would be too easy.

Reverend Mr Black is a well known Mopar in the Deep South.
I saw the original run many times at various tracks , including
Thunderbolt Raceway near Jax. , and of course here at Spruce Creek.
