Anybody else from Las Vegas here on the forum? I was curious to see if there is a SDC chapter here in town.

Andy,
How about Henderson? The Tumbleweeds Chapter, according to the SDC Home Page Local Chapter Roster, meets every 3rd Weds of the month at 7.30pm at the Skyline Restaurant and Casino 1741 N. Boulder, in Henderson, NV. This is the link to the chapter info, just scroll down, as it is the 2nd listing for the Silver State!

Probably not a good idea to make it May or September, with trying to be a family oriented event. The summer months, are just plain hot, though a dry hot.....the average temperatures (I think are low) are 100 to 106, like Glendale's in 2010...the only real bad thing about Las Vegas in the Summer.....is if they get a "frog choker" of a monsoon which can flood the town, in a matter of minutes Reno is a better choice, for the summer months!
