  • Bill Mills San Diego SDC (and other SoCal Chapters)

I just found the following in the San Diego SDC's newsletter~

    Dear club members,
Bill Mills who is one of our dearest long standing members has passed away.
There will be a Celebration of Life memorial in his honor on April 14th from 2:PM to 5:PM
Location will be at 1447 San Carlos Place.
    Escondido, Ca. 92026.
I'm asking all of you members who have fond memories and stories to please write them down on paper and bring them to this next SDC chapter meeting Thursday April 12th to be collected and shared at the memorial celebration of life. Also if you have any pictures to share that would be greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Brian Bennion
    President

This is sad news indeed- I've known Bill off and on for about as long as I can remember.
He was a very knowledgeable StudeGuy who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

I did not know the guy, at least by name. I note that he was born in Canada and died one day before his birthday.

Bill was the youngest 89 or 90 year old I ever met a few years back, loaded with Studebaker knowledge, fun loving cool dude. I only met him a few times, and we talked about the cars and the hobby like old friends do.
      Rest in peace Studebaker brother.
