    special rivets?

    Looking for the right rivets that attach the vent window brackets to the window track there like a flat head and very small..... any ideas?

    I'll look tomorrow, but believe I have some of those "rivets" you can have. Finding the rivets I found out was the easy part; getting them properly squeezed was the hard part!!!

    BTW, how far up in Michigan are you ...from South Bend that is???

    Those are typically brass tubular rivets, also used for attaching "cat whiskers" to doors, etc. See one of my posts over at Studebaker Truck Talk about the rivets:
