    Hi,

I took a few; only about half as many as I took last year but they were some beauties.

On the way home, I stopped in Clearview, WA at the MacDonald's to see what was in the parking lot at the weekly show-up. Arrived at about 5:30 pm, just as folks started leaving and managed to grab some photos of some brand X's. I really prefer cars that look like they just rolled off the showroom floor when they were brand new, without any modifications, but the modified 1938 Plymouth Business Coupe was absolutely incredible. It's for sale. I wanted to drive it in the worst way. I suppose I could have fibbed and said I was considering buying it and wanted to try it out on the highway, but I resisted the urge.

That black Plymouth didn't start as a '38, and don't look like one now. Did you mean '48?

        Yeah,

Typo. Fat fingers and those danged keys sit right next to one another. What's up with that, anyway?

(Pssst, look at the 9th photo in that second link. It says "1948 Plymouth Original." Even Mr. Magoo could have figured that one out.)

For anyone keeping score at home...

I now have the numbers from our IDYSWeekend. Looks like we did pretty good!

75 cars brought 151 people, a total driven (one way) of 5600 miles
to the Bell's Diner and Museum on Saturday 7th.

Dinner Saturday evening fed about 85 people.

Sunday's Classic car Show Sponsored by Studebaker was home to 90 cars.

          Party on!!!!
