  • Dash Pads

Does anybody out there reproduce the dash pads for a 61 Lark Deluxe? The Lark is light blue so what color is the pad; light or dark blue? Thanks.

The short answer is no. Studebaker International had a reproduction pad for a regal at their booth this summer, but I don't believe they have released them yet.

Why not talk to your local upholsterer. I had the dash on my Speedster covered. He found a real close color and textur of material, even padded it. Unless they know Speedsters, car guys don't even notice it. Speedsters were not padded from the factory. The car is a street machine that passes for a restoration.

Can I suggest you try Chris Skinner of Studebaker Queensland. Chris was having dash pads made, I guess both LHC and RHC would be available. http://www.studeparts.com.au/index.html
