Electrical: starter for a 63 lark ?

Got a 63 lark L6 3 speed manual, need a starter for it. Cant find one anywhere, anyone know of a different kind of starter off a different kind of car that would fit it maybe ?

take a look at my web site, on the interchange list are the tag numbers of the various starters. I believe that any 6-cyl, stick, 12V pass car starter should work even if it's not year-correct.

Must assume you have no starter. If you did, your local auto electric repair shop can cure your issue post haste.

i know the car runs i can ealsy push start the thing haha. but ive been to every auto place in town and they all are clueless about what to get or where to go.

Azer, Please tell us where you are located. I might have a starter after the first of the week. I am planning to make an offer on 2 Larks with stuck 6 cylinders. If I get them I will be parting both cars. Steve
