      Thanks for posting that photo. I can't say I've ever seen that one before; and its the first color photo I've seen of that car.

                  I was a subscriber to Special Interest Autos when thatarticle appeared in the Nov/Dec 1977 issue.
                  If I recall correctly, the inside of the convertible top had a lining that hid the bows, much like the Beetle convertibles had; but it was silk, not vinyl.

                    It took it the the Norton Owners Club meeting last night. The bikes were identified as a BSA Hornets.
